Yeah a few days ago, my teacher made him sit in front of me (we have assigned seats)I'll try saying 'Hi' next Monday...
A Hi is a start I suppose. Certainly matches slow! Realistically all that happens is a Hi back! Maybe sneak in a question or two?
Well, he didn't even come to school today, actually.I'll try tomorrow I guess.I have a few things planned lol, cuz I generally am an awkward person
The trick is to not complicate things. If you want to know about his hobbies, just ask. If that is too forward you lead into it "It is kind of boring now with covid, what do you do?". There's no need to make it tricky. As you get less awkward you will learn to make the questions more open and to weave in things they can ask and answer. That is sort of the trick to having hourlong, interesting, conversations.

It would be kinda hard, but I'll try thanks
I mean like, become friends with him. Y'know, take it a little slow.
@Sur_Is_WeirdOh! ok. Do you talk to this person already? If not, a simple introduction to start. Then maybe some casual conversation. Build that to causal type things... coffee, lunch, shopping, etc.You can take all of what I said as slow as you feel is right for you. Maybe you spend a couple of weeks texting/talking and then suggest lunch or coffee.Take your time and do what feels right. 😊
I have talked to him before...When me, him, his friend and my friend used to be a tight group...Then something weird happened and we broke apartGoing back to school reminded me how much I liked him...
