I've been eating croissants almost daily for over 3 months.
I eat healthy otherwise, so whenever I eat it I feel guilty and say I will minimize the consumption. However, the next time I am in the café I find myself getting it.
I know it is full of bad fat and empty carbs. This is why I feel bad.
This habit started right with a really bad episode of my life: a very bad winter and having to move to a new apartment and all a new world of issues I faced. So this gave me some solace. I still have some pending issues that I can't figure out yet.
Is anyone struggling with a similar issue?

I do and I sometimes give into temptation. As an example - This morning I had peppermint coffee which has around 30 - 70 grams of carbohydrate and I am on a low carb diet but I know I will burn it off before the end of the day just by eating and breathing and being alive.

It’s not the end of the world to enjoy food. As long as you’re not gaining pounds of fat on your body, it’s okay.
