  • Most guys will focus more on upper body which is why so many guys with built upper bodies have chicken legs. Guys who actually know what they're doing work on their legs just as much. Power comes from the legs. This is true of lifting weight, of punching power, of so many things. You can't build a solid structure on a weak foundation.

    My man @ChefCurry doesn't skip leg day.

      I'm like the opposite of most gym dudes. I have tree trunk legs and a much smaller upper body in comparison.

  • I've always been more into training the lower body as a sprinter and skateboarder. I've been trying to focus more on the upper body though in recent years, especially pulling motions which I've neglected most of my life. Still, I enjoy taxing the lower body more; it feels more natural to me.

  • Lower for sure but I am a women. My boyfriend is exactly the opposite. He works out almost exclusively his upper body.

  • I prefer lower body I think because I'm stronger in those lifts, deadlift and squat particularly, and love the feeling of lifting so much weight.

    So I dont train legs more than once a week.
    My legs are always tired af, and standing doesn't build muscle lol
