My favorite sales woman told me that she easily gets back pain when sitting at the cash register, so I can imagine that her only option for sitting down wouldn't help much. She also told me that she has to lift heavy things which at least cause her nails to get broken.
Well I never had back pain working in restaurants when I was a teenager. I would be on my feet non stop from about 4 PM until midnight without stopping. Same goes for when I was teaching science. I’d be in at work at 5 AM but would be on my feet from 7 AM until about 1:30 PM without sitting. All my classes were back to back. Feet an quads were always tired.
What did the chiropractor do?
So the bones (I guess) can get into wrong positions during work?
What exercises get you the back pain? Is it standing in front of the shelves and putting away heavy things or sitting and moving on a chair at the cash register?
