Can I get lean with just diet and muscle training?

Hey, I am a guy and I want to get lean (note I'm not fat) just want some abs 😜. Presently, I am doing weight training ( anda very little cardio) and a very strict diet. My total intake is 1200-1500 calories per day excluding my protein shakes. So will it help and what else can I do to get ripped abs?
