You make some good points. With the government it would probably be just a Snafu. (situation normal, all fucked up)

Great point 👍
There are those that seek help but Psychologists are swamped with patients. One center by me has had to expand twice and build new buildings because of all the people seeking help - either depression or substance abuse. The problem is it costs people $25 copay so you are paying over $300 a month is just copays. Many can't seem to be able to afford that, especially if they are just being paid minimum wage.
@Daniela1982 True, there are clearly not enough therapists out there to take care of all the people who would need therapy and I agree that it's also a big issue.
I think the government should have a program for helping those that need it seeing as the can spend many $Billions in building new aircraft carriers and submarines. We won't even talk about this helping alleviate mass shootings that are perpetrated by mentally ill people.
Excellent point 👍
Even people on here are reluctant to take anti depressants or seek psychological help.
Or have no medical insurance or insurance that doesn't cover all the help they need.
@Daniela1982 very true
That is why the government should fund it. They can bail out failing businesses, like they did Chrysler, but can't fund mental help for all that need it. They would rather let mentally ill people commit mass shootings so they can blame it on guns and get them banned.
Very true great comment 👍
