I'm trying to slim down and then tone the muscle more.
Muscle is ALSO more compact. If you weight 145 lbs and you are lean weight, you will look and be slimmer than 145 with a higher fat percentage. You will also burn more fat/calories per day.

That's why I like the treadmill because I can watch Netflix while I do it. Two birds!

Even when I was teeny tiny thin, I still had a little fat on my stomach. But I've always focused on overall cardio or whatever came along with a sport I was doing.
I wasn't sure if it would be faster or counter productive with building muscle.
Or whatever. I'm no expert!
