Do I need to look less in the mirror?

So I've been excersising and losing weight for like 3/4 of a year now. I do feel improvements in my strenght and endurance. Also my dcale showed that I lost weight, until a point that my muscles began to show since then the scale said that I began to gain weight (I eat healthy and cheat saturday's only, so I think it's muscle gain). At the beginning of my "body transformation" I regularly saw my fat disappearing but not anymore. Now I'm stuck at a point where my upper abs are slightly visable and the rest of my abs are covered by a layer of stubborn fat. Do I do something wrong or do I need to be patient?
