What about most laziness? Also, I was wondering if laziness is unnatural for a healthy person..
I wouldn't say its unnatural. Even the most active people make time for a "lazy" day or cheat day. Something that helps one relax and gather ones thoughts or perhaps someone had just said screw it! Today im treating myself today. Some go to spas for an entire to do exactly nothing at all. Is that considered lazy too?
I don't think going to a spa for one day is lazy. I'm taking about habitual laziness or if someone is inclined to be lazy.
Ok. So like a metaphorical mid 40s man living in moms spare room doing nothing kind of lazy?
Like someone who has to force themselves to be motivated to do things. For example, someone who has to force themselves and actively motivate themselves every day to study for school.
Was there a traumatic experience of sorts prior or has it just been continuous without reason?
continuous without apparent reason, but I'm wondering if the reason for habitual laziness that is hard to shake is really depression or another disorder.
Normally its depression
I was wondering how natural or unnatural depression is to someone with normal brain chemistry. I had in mind someone has to constantly fight the urge to be lazy and rarely feels motivated to get things done. Someone who is constantly like this for no apparent reason.
I see depression and anxiety existing on a spectrum that we all travers every day. So some days I feel down or I don’t want to clean my space, or I feel really anxious I can be very healthy and experience those things. However if I am experiencing those feelings to extremes like either for too long or too intense then I fall into a range that is considered to be depression or an anxiety disorder. It’s natural for us to feel those feelings though it’s only when they become too intense or last for too long that they become disorders that need professional treatment to overcome

lol, lazy people do inspire a lot of inventions, but without working, they wouldn't get to enjoy them.
I don't think you understand.Tools are created by people who are lazy because they want a better easier faster safer way to do things so they have more freetime to fuck-off.Look at the smartphone!A perfect example of laziness.I talk to a kid who is 25. I ask him "What would you do if ____________?" and give him a critical situation in which he needs to think on his feet and have knowledge immediately available. He says "Just look it up on the Internet", which, of course, he can do away from a computer because he has a smartphone. And now he's lazy. This kid would not know how to wipe his ass unless there was an instructional video on YouTube...Anyway, all these marvels of technology exist because lazy people worked in the short run to build things so they wouldn't have to work so hard (or again) in the future.
I hear you. Some days it can be hard to keep moving.
