Fair enough! But when you think new cases will stop and the pandemic will be over?
@bratzdoll69From my understanding, the Chinese Virus will never go away. And no one really knows that answer to the question you are asking. Maybe I'm mistaken. Can you share a link that says when new cases will stop? I haven't found any.
You need to check a LOT more sources than the "US govt Dept. of Whatever " www.npr.org/.../coronavirus-faqs-can-sunlight-kill-the-virus-how-risky-is-an-elevator-rideCan sunlight kill the coronavirus? What about UV light?Sunlight contains three types of ultraviolet light — UVA, which tans your skin (and ages it) and can cause eye damage; UVB, which burns and also ages skin; and UVC, which is "the most harmful one" because it's quite good at destroying genetic material, explains Juan Leon, a virologist who focuses on environmental health at Emory University. Luckily, he notes, the sun's UVC rays don't reach us because they are filtered out by Earth's atmosphere.Sunlight can be a good disinfectant with other pathogens. Leon notes that's why in the developing world, the World Health Organization recommends sterilizing water by putting it in plastic containers and leaving it outside in the sun for about five hours."Right now, there is no data on whether the UVA rays of the sun can inactivate this coronavirus," says Leon. However, research on SARS, another coronavirus closely related to the one causing the current pandemic, found that exposing that virus to UVA light for 15 minutes did nothing to reduce its infectivity, Leon says.
It’s always gonna be here but I think we’ll have it under control like have a vaccine. It’s gonna be like Ebola rare

yeah but SARS disappeared, why wouldn't this one after a while?
@NatalieKeller95 Ten years after the WHO thought that SARS was gone, people were still getting infected with it. COVID-19 is really the condition given by a type of coronavirus, and the SARS-Co-V-2 appears to be a mutated cousin of the old SARS. Smallpox has been defeated, except every now and then a clump of cases crops up. So actually, these viruses are under control through immunization and herb immunity.
Coming from a country where people can no longer afford bread due to the lockdown and where the rebellion has already begun. I second that opinion
I think they’ll have vaccine by September and have more by next year. So by September it should calm down. I mean the oxford team is confident in their vaccine they produced
I don’t think it will ever go away but there won’t be a pandemic of it as soon as vaccine is out. It will just be like Ebola rare
No a year or so.. if certain country doesn't come up with another thing
So another year they will let this go on for 😭
Yes that is what I'm thinking
So what do u think? When will the virus lower and not come back?
Probably July or August.
Yeah when will pandemic end then
When the immunity has been built up in general public.
So a couple of years from now.
Yeah doubt that
Doubt what? That the current pandemic wave will last years, it will independent if they manage to find a cure or not. The cure would only prevent people from dying, it won't remove the disease. It will just be another flue in the end and no longer be a pandemic.
They won’t let it go on for that long years like u said. They’re doing everything they can. I mean the pandemic and yeah it won’t go away but it will be rare as they’ll know how control it.
They have already lost the control, and all they can do is slow the process down so it takes longer before everyone has been exposed to it. So the hospitals can manage the amount that get really sick.
Yeah it will calm down end of this year I think they’ll be a vaccine due to countries racing for one
Why what are they doing
They didn't force the people to stay inside, they just took care of the endangered people not getting infected.
My prediction is a year. 🤞
yeah it's not going to happen like that, the chance of pandemics ending mankind altogether are low especially with the scientific advances these days, a virus usually weakens once it mutates to a certain point also, nothing lasts forever, neither this virus, or us
So you think everything will calm down by then as in less new cases of corona?
I think so, yes. That's how the chart is behaving too. But keep in mind, the normal after 6 months won't be the absolute normal. Social distancing and avoiding large gatherings would still be in some kind of effect. We'll be completely normal after a cure...
@msc545 Correct! Bonus round:When will freedom-loving patriotic Americans get tired of this shit and start voting from the rooftops?
@msc545 Dude, you are a fucking GENIUS!!! That is ALSO CORRECT! Ha ha ha ha!!! You rock. Stay strong, brother.
