Fair enough! But when you think new cases will stop and the pandemic will be over?
@Bratzdoll69From my understanding, the Chinese Virus will never go away. And no one really knows that answer to the question you are asking. Maybe I'm mistaken. Can you share a link that says when new cases will stop? I haven't found any.
You need to check a LOT more sources than the "US govt Dept. of Whatever " www.npr.org/.../coronavirus-faqs-can-sunlight-kill-the-virus-how-risky-is-an-elevator-rideCan sunlight kill the coronavirus? What about UV light?Sunlight contains three types of ultraviolet light — UVA, which tans your skin (and ages it) and can cause eye damage; UVB, which burns and also ages skin; and UVC, which is "the most harmful one" because it's quite good at destroying genetic material, explains Juan Leon, a virologist who focuses on environmental health at Emory University. Luckily, he notes, the sun's UVC rays don't reach us because they are filtered out by Earth's atmosphere.Sunlight can be a good disinfectant with other pathogens. Leon notes that's why in the developing world, the World Health Organization recommends sterilizing water by putting it in plastic containers and leaving it outside in the sun for about five hours."Right now, there is no data on whether the UVA rays of the sun can inactivate this coronavirus," says Leon. However, research on SARS, another coronavirus closely related to the one causing the current pandemic, found that exposing that virus to UVA light for 15 minutes did nothing to reduce its infectivity, Leon says.
It’s always gonna be here but I think we’ll have it under control like have a vaccine. It’s gonna be like Ebola rare

So you think pandemic will be over end of this year?
I think it could be contained if we play it right. Doesn't mean we shouldn't learn all we can through this pandemic from not only how our bodies handle a virus but also how people treat each other because of one.
Yeah 100% hope people learned from this pandemic. Even when it’s over things will never turn normal
Hopefully better will become the new normal and we never let ourselves get lulled back to sleep but big corporations agendas.
When do u think pandemic will end though?
What do u mean it’s ended? How do u know
Lol get a load of this guy.
You should, means you're smart. Are you?
I'm smart enough to know the virus is spreading because the lockdowns were completely ineffective since people just crowded into grocery stores and Walmart instead of bars. Second, you CAN'T stop the spread of this virus. The week to two week long incubation period before symptoms appear, the fact it can still spread before symptoms appear, and the fact that anywhere from 1/3 to 1/2 of cases in studies were completely asymptomatic means this virus has already been exposed to tens of millions in the country most likely and can't be contained. You're either someone who has been infected or WILL be infected by the virus, it's simply too powerful to stop. It can only be slowed down to not overwhelm healthcare services which we have been successful at. So really, the quarantines are now becoming pointless as time goes on since we now know until a vaccine is developed, which could take years, the virus can't be stopped. Might as well face reality and capitulate.
You're definitely something enough to "know" all that is right, but "smart" is far from it.
SARS ended without a vaccine
@NatalieKeller95 not only SARS previous 5deadly viruses were vaccines are not yet discount. But corona virus is spreading from human to human rapidly. World will not function without human contact. vaccine is must
SARS ended though, I think coronaviruses lose strength over time , and subside completely even though SARS still exists but haven't been around since 2004
@NatalieKeller95 SARS was also a different and less effective virus. COVID-19 has demonstrated greater resilience, a less predictable approach to attacking the body, a wider range of symptoms, and a tendency to remain in the body without detection. We still know precious little about COVID-19, and many of the labs aren't even running experiments with COVID-19, they are running experiments with old SARS. COVID-19 has already mutated several times and attacks every population differently.
it's a cousin of the covid 19, but a weaker cousin if anything
both are coronaviruses
@NatalieKeller95 they do not attack the body in the same way though. That fact is super important. Studying SARS to understand COVID-19 is like believing that Blueberries are poisonous because they are in the same plant family as Deadly Nightshade
So we’ll suffer for another 55 years
Unfortunately madeomasille. I hope nothing will happen women like you.
It's not curable at all. It's just that most people can fight it off with their immune system, but it appears older people have more receptors in their lungs for the virus to attack and so the proportion of survivors diminishes in older groups. Furthermore, many of those who recover may have damage to other organs that doesn't show up for years. Even children, who were initially though to be unaffected, are sometimes showing strange rashes.
@zagor It is 100% curable. The drug industry isn't gonna tell you that because they're looking forward to the future vaccine. If you, or anyone you know gets the virus, look into Colloidal Silver, you will be FINE. I'm sick of arguing with you people. Learn the agendas being pushed, and counter it.
Yeah they also put cocain in the water.
Do you think it will calm down by then by vaccine or some
Probably. Heard a family member's boss from UCSF say to prepare to be indoors till December. China supposedly has a vaccine, but that was oddly quick.
Well the virus started in December so it would make sense for it to last 12 months
Wait, you're a bio major? Vaccines are only effective if it's made for the right viral strain. There could be more than one strain of the virus in your area.
Yes, well, now it's May, and the virus is still with us. Fuck Trump.
I really hope! I don’t think they’ll let it go on for any longer as they are racing for vaccines, if u done your research in all this
Yeah that's right
Relax. The government has no reason to keep the loockdows.
I doubt this is going to be a decade long thing
Fauci said one by January is doable
@NatalieKeller95 doable, but not necessarily realistic.
I think it will end in 23 months, so sometime in 2021 seems likely
Everything thing is unpredictable right now
U think the virus will go in few months?
