I saw you asked you can do 30 pounds and want to know how to gain muscle...ya so thats the part where you want to drive a weight to around 10-20- reps where you really feel the tight squeeze in the muscle, you want to ideally have 2 last reps like that. so say you are doing 15 reps, you want to kinda have rep 13, 14 Ish... be a tight squeeze in you thighs and glutes where its hard to get it up but you still can... like really trying, not dying... some people do dying - by trying, like pushing up a bike uphill.. you dont die, but its hardwith that feeling, you want to then come back the next session and make those reps more comfortable, so go at it again, you will probably struggle at 14-15 again.. but you want to make it so its not a struggle at 14-15... then eventually you can do 15-16... and 16-17 then 20... now you increase the weights! your muscle just grew but the key is that squeeze part im telling you lol...without that, there's no growth

Well, when it comes to gaining muscle you'll generally want to do high weight low rep workouts. Once you're passed the 'newbie gains' stage you'll need to start eating a lot more to gain a lot of muscle. You'll also gain fat, which will make you less tone, but it's the most efficient way to gain muscle. When I was a 130lb skinny boi I started with about 50-60lbs added weight...But like I said, I'm sure you can find some rule online... Perhaps a fraction of your 1-rep max. Though, I'd just go with the heaviest weight you can do 5+ reps with.

i would try 120 125 maybe just to make sure you get mass and not fat because over doing it will make you flabby i know this because i am flabby XD

im trying lo im down to 240 want to get to 220 which is ideal for guys i think that are my height which is 5'8 and and i guess 50 pounds though im not sure for girls im using 60 myself seeing how im active with my work outside , but i guess its all in how much you can lift without straining
