Is eating 1400 calories a day enough?

Im a 5’8”, 138 lbs, 18 years old female. I’ve been trying to loose some weight in order to get to my goal of 125 lbs. I exercise for 30 - 50 mins 4 times a week.

is 1400 calories per day enough or will it slow my metabolism and make it harder to loose weight?
Is eating 1400 calories a day enough?
