Advice about weight loss?

I really need to lose weight. So people who did keto, when you went off of it did you put the weight back on? do you think if I do this till I lose the weight then eat a balanced diet will I put the weight back on? or should I even diet at all? I have to do something.

Do some people do keto till they lose the weight then start eating a balanced diet? Will I put the weight back on? I'm just curious or do I just start eating healthy without too many restrictions?
