@I-am-a-nobody I have a fatty liver which is one reason I set that target. To reduce fatty liver it is something like lose 7% of one's body weight. I carry most of my weight in my mid section. Women in Japanese in their 50s average a weight around 117 pounds. It seems to me a good weight. I used to weight 95 pounds until I was 27. At 120 5' 1" I'm considered thin but I think it is more what used to be average back before the 80s.

I was serious actually. There seem to be very few people who actually are at a healthy weight. And I live in the deep South too. So I get to see the worst of it. There are a lot of big people here.

Good job with losing so much! Did you do anything specific to get rid of 100 pounds?

That's a good idea, to still keep eating the same foods that you liked before. That seems like it would help a lot with cutting down on cravings.
