I do. I've done powerlifting and olympic lifting. Currently though, I'm doing more rock climbing and kettlebell stuff.I've done bodyweight and free weights as well.I find weight lifting very satisfying.
I've always wanted to take a rock climbing class! Do you need a lot of upper body strength?
Go for it! Rock climbers are really friendly folks, I've found. It's more of a full-body workout - proper technique usually also means more pushing with the legs. Though definitely expect sore hands and forearms, ha ha!
