I don't think it is something sexual, at all!! I have had a lot of female doctors, and they have ALWAYS BEEN THE BEST!! OMG!! If I could choose, I would only see female doctors, just because they CARE and LISTEN to me!! They CARE, and take the TIME!!
Male docs are mostly just pill-pushers, or just condescending pricks!!
Even with some of the most personal things, I would still choose a woman doctor, even though she doesn't have a prostrate, but she went to med school, and knows what is OK!!
In my experience, the women are much more thorough, and take more time, when there is some issue, that I question.
Sometimes, because of the particular policies at certain places, they need to have a nurse (either gender) as a witness, because she is a woman, and WTF? I have no worries that she is doing anything wrong, even when the women take more time, being more thorough, with the exams, personal things, that male docs just breeze by!

@bigboi85 I am SOOOO much more comfortable with a female doctor, even with really personal things, because they are SOOOO much more caring, and they take their time, and they talk to you, like a PERSON, and care about how you feel! When doing any kind of exam, they ask, many times, if I am OK, or 'does this hurt' or 'are you uncomfortable'?
I think that women are also a lot more thorough, and focused on making sure everything is OK, rather than just doing some simple exam, thing.
They are also a lot better when telling you things, and explaining test results, or why they wanted to do certain tests, and then, what those results mean, and what to do, when they are not quite normal, rather than just prescribing pills!!

Growing up nudist and gay I had both a guy and a women doctor. I was always asked to strip all the way. My mom was normally in the room. neither wore gloves in those days. Both always did full exams including my penis. Both have made me hard and both did not care. Once hard both gave it a few strokes before measured it. And both asked if I masturbate and can ejaculate. He said he was top of his class, and he was so good that they let him work from home and do any exams he wanted. He doesn't are anything either, and he always includes a free oil massage at the end.
