Any weight loss tips that dont include completely changing around your diet?

Obviously I know that diet is a huge one here. However, I'm on an incredibly tiny income due to Covid and I cannot afford all the healthy things that could help. Currently I'm fasting (in a healthy way; I do not starve myself). I'm on a 20/4 fasting schedule.

I've been doing small workouts and my weight has approved. I started doing this a month ago (the fasting and light exercise). I started at 238lbs and I'm currently down to 221lbs. So there is progress but I've noticed that I'm not toning up the way that I had hoped. I admittedly have never dieted or exercised like this before because I have never been this big (I'm easily 100lbs over my normal weight). Any pointers?
