Have you ever tasted your own blood?

Question

Okay, odd question time. So I suffered a busted lip earlier today and tasted my own blood, and oddly enough I liked it. Has this ever happened to anyone else or am I just crazy?

Yup, slightly metallic, I liked it.
I tend to lick a lot of cuts I get on my forearm from work because I don't have anything to stop it with and I don't want to get blood stains on my clothes so I don't dab it with my t-shirt but I also don't lick them if I know it was caused by a thing that may be carrying something bacterial, it is more a case of when I get graze something then check what it was and then lick the excess blood, hold down with thumb and let it dry.

Not hygienic at all but can't help it sometimes when you are working and need to deal with excess blood but have no tissues to deal with it, I don't want to get my hands all bloodied either so..

well I guess every person has at least had teeth pulled out as a kid, so everyone has at some point tasted their blood :D.. gums can also bleed now and then.. not uncommon.
I am indifferent to the taste.. Tasted it several times in my life now.. just fresh blood from my mouth.
