Trying To Get Fit Again?

So its been a few years since I took fitness seriously so I've started slowly with weights walking running etc a few minutes each day.. I do cardio stepper but have started at around 10mins until I build up my progress as I get out of breath easy. I can only usually manage 30mins on stepper cardio is that bad? Any tips or advice would be good thanks!
