If the only exercise you are getting is walking you’ll need at least an hour a day. But keep in mind diet has a much bigger impact on weight loss than exercise. Its way easier to eat 500 less calories in a day than it is to burn off an extra 500.

I prefer speed as a variable to time. Set a distance that takes ages to cover and then seek to cover it faster and faster. When it becomes too short and too easy, make it up hills. When hills become too easy, make it up mountains.
Yup lose weight you just have to burn more calories than you intake so if you eat 3000 calories a day then you’ll have to walk wayyyyy more than someone who eats 1500 it’s not a set number though
