How do I convince my parents that I don't wanna go to the boring place for new year and waste my time?

I understand where you're coming from I felt the same awhile back, but it only made me more miserable.. I got happier as I enjoyed my family's and other people's presence while asserting myself in a witty way if there is something I dislike - The worst thing you could do especially as a woman (have higher neuroticism levels usually) is to put such high pressure on your career because that's just masculine energy that won't make you happy - And by the way it won't make you happy even after being done with it - Another fact is women are usually more agreeable (more willing to just do what they're "told and supposed to do" in this context it being going to college working super hard getting a job and live off retirement money) than men add that to neuroticism and high conscientiousness and you have an obsessed emotional robot at work - Live life and stop panicking this much at the end of the day no one will care how good of a grade you had not even you - Just relax and let loose of that masculine energy and you'll be good..

If you’re not a child then you should be able to stand on your own two feet and do whatever you want. If your parents are still providing everything for you and you’re totally reliant on them to live... you can suck it up and go on the holiday until you’re actually an adult
