We have Cuomo turning loose prisoners and others for good behavior, look it up. But a police officer who was doing her job, dealing with a burglary and shit goes bad, and she's in prison for 10 years? WTF? I want the people who convicted her and the lawyers in prison.
You can argue about other pardons if they are right or not, that's fine. But again I say, FANTASTIC JOB MR. PRESIDENT!! This is why you were elected, to help the people abused by the system. I only wish he had more time to pardon more.

If I were an officer after seeing what is going on in society, I think I'd salute the job with a high middle finger (which is extreme for me) and say goodbye to that job. Not worth it until we get society fixed, which is never.

I respect your view. I favor the officer here, I'd have to hear a lot more that she is some cruel and sadistic psycho to say otherwise. Even then, I'd say take the dog away, fire her, pay a fine to people and be done, not 10 years in jail for doing her job. The people who approved use of G. sherpards is teh problem... military only for those because they tear flesh. Should only use dobermans.
The link which you've posted yourself as the "other view" gave you all that and lot more. She got 10 years because this wasn't her first incident, she already faced 4 civil lawsuits for similar behavior, including releasing a dog on a sleeping teenager, and an unarmed guy who was already shot.
Yes, she should have been fired, like many, many years ahead of that last incident. The fifth time, the jury's patience probably just ran out, so they gave her an exemplary sentence.

They were here illegally both suspects, they deserved what they got. They claimed to be homeless, but the fact of the matter is they were both trespassing on someone's property, as well is trespassing in this country. And while leftists want to point to racism, I suggest that if they didn't want that to happen they probably shouldn't be here illegally. They were both deported by the way.
