@ChocoBrownieMonsterIn most jurisdictions of the Western world that is the case.The only defence that is available to men is to not have relationships with women. Do not even speak to them, unless it cannot be avoided.
@cth96190 yeah and that's a realistic action if you want a comfortable life. Women seem to think they can control everything, if they change their mindset they'll get a decent guy, not a simp.
Huh? Ummmm No I and several other girls on here have more then many me do or ever will.
Yeah for sure... wouldn't you want one before marrying a broke dick
But really those are really only a thing if one person is going in with money right... i mean if we buy a house together for instance she should get half or whatever
I wouldn't marry a broke dick unless I was broke
Broke dudes are like fats... kinda useless
Or my inheritance isn't taken
You mean a prenup protects your inheritance?
It would, yes. And it would introduce a lot of difficulty into your marriage too
Exactly right. Prenups completely go against the purpose of marriage. If you're making contingency plans in case things go wrong, perhaps you shouldn't be getting married in the first place. If a marriage does fail, you'll still be hit with the emotional toll whether you've got a prenup or not and that's more important than the financials in my opinion.
If there is a great disparity in income, assets, or liabilities between the prospective spouses, a pre-nuptial agreement removes SOME of the incentive for the less fortunate partner to marry for financial gain, but it increases the incentive for the less fortunate partner top stay in a marriage in which they are otherwise unhappy. Quite often, young people get prenuptial agreements at the insistence of their parents and are quite glad that they did so.If I was marrying a woman who had substantial assets, I would offer to enter a prenuptial agreement so that there would be fewer questions from others about whether I am marrying for love or financial gain.
@OlderAndWiser big property inheritance
This relates to you, I assume. Do you want to PM me with details?
Agree with @OlderAndWiser. Prenups are a wise move if you have assets to protect.
