Have you ever been in someones wedding party?

I was part of the wedding party a couple of times back in the day when best friends were getting married. It wasn't a big deal. I didn't even have to rent a tux. All I had to do was wear a suit and stand up with the group in front of the church. I feel sorry for women in some weddings because they have to wear some god-freaking-awful bridesmaids outfits.

i got in a relationship with jax in 2009 and since then i have been at least in 5-7 weddings a year. they have weird traditions and they can have up to 800 people as guests and their wedding parties are crazy and fun, we rejected invitations this year and i can't understand why people are making big parties when its epidemic and its dangerous so far we rejected 7 weddings the last one was in October

No and wouldn't want to be. Too much people, too much formality, those uncomfortable clothes, so much preparing. I was supposed to be my friend's bridesmaid and I agreed of course, but there were so many stupid details that made me regret my decision. Then that corona stuff started so she couldn't arrange it.

I'm from India and my family is Hindu so weddings here don't have any practice of bridesmaids and best man.
And as for the wedding ceremony itself, I dread them cause it's full of extended relatives who you meet like only once a year but are offended when you don't remember them and are also very conservative and judgmental.

I was bridesmaid in one of my sister's wedding... Wore an ugly pink dress with A HUGE bow on the back 🙄

Oh god numerous times.
I've been in a wedding party probably like 35 times.
I've gone to 5 weddings where I wasn't in the wedding party, and thats cause they were either friends, or I was the grooms side of the family.
Hopefully the next wedding I go to will be my own, and even if it'll just be myself the groom and the priest im good with that. Damn covid, ruining everything 😪 😒

I've never been to a friends wedding because I've got no friends 😉🙁but, I have been to a few of my family weddings... and I don't know if I would like to go and do it again because I don't like to wait there FOREVER and I e all the weddings that I've been to had food that I didn't like...🙁

Yes once. Best man for one of my best friends. I was honored to be the best man, but wanted no other part of the "job" lol. I really didn't want to give a speech. But he had one of the other guys do it. I don't know what people thought, but I didn't care lol. And I don't think he minded and understood. Said he did anyway.

My aunt got married when I was alive, making her the only close family member to do so. I think a few second cousins did too, and an estranged cousin may have (it's unclear since we've never seen the latter). Anyway, I was only at my aunt's wedding and was 4 or 5 then, so time and lack of maturity then make it vague. As for any other wedding I was my girlfriend's +1, but I had only met the couple once before at Thanksgiving so we weren't even close enough to recgonize each other

I have a friend who is getting married to his girlfriend in a year. If the pandemic is under control by then. I suspect he will want me in the wedding party. Assuming it is a big enough wedding.

I have no idea. Firstly, I'm not sure what counts... For me, the closest I've gotten to a Wedding Party was a Family Reunion. Second, it was when I was young, I'd hardly remember it.

Hopefully three, if my friend asks his girlfriend to marry him. He already decided that I'd be his best man if he marries his ( now ) girlfriend.

Only as a child. I was a flower girl / ring bearer twice, once for my uncle and his wife and once for my mom's cousin and his wife. I was the only young child in both families for a while so I was the default choice.

I've been on plenty of hen/ bachelorette parties but never been a bridesmaid. I do love a good hen weekend then a wedding to get dressed all formal.

Best Man a couple of times. When it's a really good friend getting married it's an honour to be invited to play a part in the service.

I've been in four or five. Groomsmen don't have to do much besides show up in the appointed formal wear, and belly up to the bar.

Yes, I was a Bridesmaid four (4) times.
And, I choreographed the song & dance programs of all 4 weddings in which I was a Bridesmaid.

When i was smaller i used to live for weddings especially for the food (shhh don't tell anyone)..😂😂 and I was the little bride once, but i don't go to weddings much now

Wedding parties are fun cause it's allow you to meet your cusins and also you will meet your childhood crushes who must be married now or just single ready to mingle LoL 😂
