16 is still a child. 23 is like finishing univeristy and finding a place to live/find a real job.
16 is grade 10, is playing on the playground with friends, learning social studies, math, general sciences, TO BEGIN WITH. 16 is when kids do stupid things just because they are kids. You are a kid if ur the 16 year old. wait ATLEAST 2 more years minimum before thinking about marriage. and even then. I extremely doubt you will get married to anyone at that age unless the guy is willing to wait/stay with you that long.
To my experience, older people who are with a younger person in high school, NEVER works out.
and I've seen this around 20-30 times. Each time it failed. And when its a guy, its usually him using the girl for sex/having someone who is easy to get since high schoolers are attracted to older men because of maturity/wisdom/whatever older guys have that 16 year old boys don't like bigger dicks and a brain to think.1
