I went to buy medicine but apparently you need to be 18 to get it. I showed the cashier my ID and she said "hold on" and went to ask her coworkers if they thought my id was fake because I "dont look 18"... I had to wait like 15 minutes for them to verify that my ID was real. there's gotta be some kind of strings I can pull at this point to get some free stuff because this is ridiculous. Does anyone have a similar experience?
Also this isn't the first time I've been stopped in this store. I've also been accused of loitering by one of the old employees (because they thought I was a high school student). The root issue is still the same.. they are clearly profiling people based on looks and I bet every young looking person goes through this shit at some point.
