Should I buy another SC300?

Question

I currently own a SC300 I wanted to put in a 5-speed, but its auto. I just got the opportunity to buy a manual sc300 for $2500. It has some body damage, minor, everything else is fine on it. It has 103k miles. I want to buy one to modify and to keep my stock SC300(Because its so comfy and nice, and I am emotionally attached) Right now I own 2 cars, a civic and my sc300. This is a good deal but I need someone to talk me out of it haha.

The one for sale is almost identical to this one. The one I own is a Goldish color. and has limited edition 18" OZ Rims.

When I finish my build, in like 5 years lmao. I want it to look like this! Look at those fat tires!

1) Never rush a decision...
2) You don't gave space
3) do you have that good of a friend? Is your friend sure he won't need the space? Don't want any resentment.
4) long term expenses?
5) am opportunity will come again. If you don't NEED it now and can't afford it then no. Give love to the cars you already have.

Haha I need the ecu though 😂😭
The ecu is much better, more reliable, and will help my build in the future when I want to start pushing 400+ hp

You better response and thottle control with a carburetor. You don't have the ECU thinking then go.

The problem I have right now is storing it. somewhere. 3 cars is going to be unwieldy.
my apartment has 2 spaces for me. :/ I need my civic as a daily and my other sc300 is my baby haha.
I might try and ask a friend to store it for me... I gotta think long term expenses haha

cars do no good sitting there... thats one thing i learned. if you dont have time or funds to get straight on with the mods i wouldn't bother buying it... you might find a better one at less money if this was a longterm thing and save on storage fees...

I am just trying to figure out where to keep it.
I dont have another parking space at my apartment. Thats the biggest hurdle and I dont want to spend money storing it.

Yeah I dont think I can afford this car long term. With the cost of registration, new tires, service, and storage :/
I have the money to buy it but not maintain it for more than a few months

why not just sell your original car and upgrade to a better one? That way you'll still be in your affordability range.

The biggest issue I have rn is finding somewhere to store the extra car :/
I already pay for 2 spaces at my apartment. I don't know if I can afford to pay storage or for another spot

I'd say that's where friends and family come in. I currently have a car in my friend's workshop because I also ran out of parking spots, I have 2 cars and 3 motorcycles currently. Perhaps someone you know also has some private property etc where you could store your whip at. 2500 is a steal, I bet you'd regret it if you didn't go for it :c

I literally drove my sc300 in for an oil change and they remembered how I wanted the manual one :)
Maybe one day in the future I can build my dream car :).
