Most interesting? What the child can create!!
Last Christmas, I gave my 10 year old nephew a bag, literally a bag, of random Legos, that I had found, bought, gathered, whatever! About 2,000 pieces.
The card said, "Use your imagination, and see what happens!" and my name.
My brother said it was one of the BEST gifts, ever, because he didn't know what I meant, so he kept building, and re-building, until he liked something, and wanted to show me!

aw that’s so sweet! sadly I never got to play with Lego as a kid because it was a “boy” thing, but they always seemed so cool ☺️

@babysteph Do you know, now, that Lego is actually making a specific market effort to young girls, and maybe some of their initial ideas are 'pink' and 'girlie' I think they are heading toward the STEM things, and getting these young ladies interested in Robotics, and engineering, and all kinds of other careers!

@jacksmy yeah the Lego “friends” (I think those are the ones you mean) came out when I was a bit too old to want to play with them, but they’re super cute!

@babysteph You are NEVER too old, to LOVE playing with Legos!!
I guess I am blessed, with a little nephew, but he is a little Autistic, and doesn't "BUILD" like I did, when I was his age!! I had basic bricks, and now, there are SOOO many special pieces!! I used to have to use my imagination, and work with what I had! Now, they have a part for almost everything!
It has been a challenge, but with the Mindstorms, and the newer ones, ROBOTICS, he is getting interested!

Just browsing, I would probably go on amazon to buy them. I'm pretty sure they are marked up for the store but one-day I might buy on there just for the novelty
