When did you last buy yourself something expensive? What was it?

I'd say with my current budget it was a 30 dollar blanket and a ton of movies from my former video store that's closing down. Athough I did just recently buy a meal that costed 16 dollars total which is a little much for me 😅 but I am thinking about getting the new resident evil game and if my dad's inheritance comes through hopefully a new car, my whole life has been a series of old cars and it will be nice to finally have a new one. But we will have to see... I guess my car I'm currently using was 500 bucks so that's technically more money than other things I've spent currently
I took a cooking class and the instructor focused on preparing food and then freezing it to eat at a later time. That way one doesn't have to worry about the food going bad. So I did a lot of freezing food and had to get another freezer. It cost me about $900.00. That was about one year ago and it was one of my best purchases. Another great purchase is I bought a state-of-art battery-powered mower. It works great!
I never have the extra cash to buy me anything.. I focus first on bills then anything my kid needs and then anything my s. o needs.. honestly its a problem I can't even convince myself that I deserve a new shirt after 75% of them have been thrown out since they fell apart.. :'( I care too much for others to do anything for myself and no one seems to notice.
On Wednesday I rented 3 textbooks that was $260. That was for school.
But for myself, 2 weeks ago I ordered this Russian Tourmaline slice. I can’t wait to get it from Russia for my collection.

"Something expensive". Well, it's not a "thing" thing but I financed my LASIK surgery back in 2019 DEC. It cost me a fortune but it is worth every piece of money spent on it. I got eagle eyes ever since!
