What items would you give your current/future SO for Valentines Day?

I'm thinking it really depends on what she likes and wants. Now I could have fun and take it too a romantic and intimate level. Where we both cuddle and have special things like back massages, or while cuddling have fun pillow talk conversations. Just really enjoying each other's presence at home, feeding each other chocolate covered strawberries and making each other laugh. Just quality time just the two of us. No phones, no distractions, just us enjoying each other. One step further would be a hotel with a romantic room. Other than this route, find something that makes her nerd or geek out It's that moment, where she can't breathe, speechless, grabs your shoulder for relief, travels up your shoulder not losing sight of the gift then gives you a big warm hug and kiss. I'd view as an autographed favorite book, or tickets to a sold concert (not during co vid) , finding something out of print, the whole series of her favorite bingeable show, or even a pet that I never told her I was ok with yet and just told her I wanted one by buying it for her. Stuff like that.

If it was a very special Valentine's day, I would write her a poem. I'd also probably get her some fancy chocolates, flowers, and I'd either cook her a really nice meal or bring her out to a nice restaurant.

Seeing you said nothing s*xual😈I would more likely make a special dinner of their favorite foods, followed by their favorite dessert (wink wink lol) I don't get caught up in that having to buy gifts for a made up holiday to show someone love or special attention, cuz that can and should be done anyway... I'd be more the person to buy him something on a non holiday just because I saw something I knew he'd like, or because he had a bad day, cuz think it means way more when it's at unexpected times, or for more personal reasons other than cuz it's a "holiday"...

I don't know... It depends on the person. Is she a breakfast eater sho likes to sleep in later than me? Ill ma! e her breakfast in bed (if I know how to cook) if not? Then I might take her out to breakfast. Is she a sports person or artys person? Does she live to go to the movies? Or does she like tv series? Would she rather go out on an expensive dinner date, or or find a romantic movie at home and watch it together with roses and popcorn at the ready? Is she even romantic or is she the "forget it type" that doesn't want anything romantic? Thus, you give her nothing romantic but find a way to cuddle or love each other without making a big deal over what day it is... There are several types of girls out there and each one is special in what they lie and your job to find out what on your first date. If you don't know your girlfriend to know or ANYTHING shell like then you failed, but I am going to find out everything I can about her ( when I get a girlfriend) so I can give her thea Valentine's day event that she'll love...

We don't usually do anything different for valentines day. We're both still recovering from what 2020 dropped into our laps, so this year is unlikely to be different.

If I could I'd probably just cook her dinner and find a way to let her rest because she's exhausted at the moment. What I'd really like to do is to take her away to a cabin we've been to before where there's no TV, phone or satellite reception and at night no artificial light outside so you can sit on the deck, listen to the sound of the ocean and watch the Milky-way. It's restorative.

I’m not the biggest fan for Valentine’s Day snd think it’s a waste. That’s just my opinion. I personally wouldn’t want my partner to go all out just because it’s Valentine’s Day. I’d prefer if my partner would come home on random days with flower (s) he picked in some random garden or on the side of the road or wanting to make my favourite meal for dinner and so on. I wouldn’t be bothered if my partner doesn’t get me anything for Valentine’s Day.

One of the interests that my boyfriend and I share is fixing up/restoring older cars. This is something he gained an interest in because it’s something that my father and I do together. Although he loves it, he doesn’t have any tools! So I think a really nice Valentine’s Day gift for him. would be a basic hand tool set, wrapped in a big red ribbon, with a heart shaped card, and a teddy bear 🧸 ❤️

I like baking lol I sell some naughty stuff for people that prefer gag gifts rather than strawberries etc. I plan to give my boyfriend conversation heart cookies and other stuff... here’s 2 of them... he doesn’t really care to receive stuff for vday so I just make him stuff he’ll Eat lol

My SO LOVES earrings. I find both the adventure of seeking out the perfect earrings all throughout the year to find the perfect ones I just know she will love, and that will go with her clothes. I usually surprise her with getting down on one knee and 'presenting the earrings' in public, at a really nice dinner out. After a good glass of wine, come home to light a fire in the fireplace and cuddle up on the couch, whispering her how lucky I am to have her in my life will be our Valentines Day this year.

I see Valentin's Day as one other commercial exploit of a once meaningful idea.
But I don't want to boycott the idea itself.
So I will steal a good number of flowers from the neighbourhood and present her a reasonably huge bouquet (thus symbolically risking a life in prison for her).

I'm not a romantic person what so ever. I don't celebrate valentines day because I think its overrated for a holiday but thays my opinion.

If I were to answer that question, I wouldn't want an item to be my gift. All I wanted is TIME. Ur time to spend time with me is all that matters. It's not about the flowers and chocolates and etc. To me, ur time with me is good enough. We can stay in watch movies, or we can do something fun. Whatever it is. TIME is the only item I want.

I really like your idea of reciprocal gifts. If I had a girlfriend/wife I would get a Vermont Teddy Bear and a small bouquet of flowers for her, also chocolates or something else that I know she would love to eat. I am hoping to get back this girl I met on eHarmony in January. We only went on one magical date and then she said she needed space to “love herself more” before getting into a new relationship again with me so soon. Or a video of me singing love songs I wrote myself. I never had a girlfriend. But even so, I once gave flowers to my good friend - a girl, for Valentine's Day. Otherwise, if I had a girlfriend, I would give her flowers and something more expensive. Probably some necklace. But since I don't have a girlfriend or money, these are just plans. :D

I'll give her an invitation for the day with s love letter with a little poem in it with some flowers.

last year i gave my boyfriend a present based on a theme!!
He’s such a star wars geek (sadly i didn’t know anything about it so it took a lot of help from his friends) and i put him together a little star wars themed gift basket:) Shirts, socks, a blanket, posters, some candies, and other things I thought would like that sorta followed the theme:) he loved it!

I mean it depends on the guy what he likes, what his love language is. But in my experience food is never a bad idea. A gift card to his favorite restaurant, or a box of his favorite snacks or drink would be my go-to.
