Most expensive "things" I/we purchased, priced from highest to lowest: A 7-story mixed-used building in the Philippines (solely mine), a multi-unit cluster of townhouses in southern California (jointly owned with hubby), our current residence in northern California (jointly owned with hubby), a row of townhouses in Mexico (solely mine), my beach house in the Philippines (solely mine), our 2nd motorhome (jointly owned with hubby), etc.

That is cool. The most expensive thing I ever got is my lap top or my cell phone - both cost $1200 - $1500. A guy mocked me for wasting my money when I got my cell phone but its been extremely useful to me now that I have two phones cause I attend 4 hours of zoom events a day and some groups require two devices - one to communicate and one to read online content when I attend the groups.
@Just_someone23 I even know one idiot, who said, that LASIK surgery will make the patient blind in a few years. The jealousy is clearly visible in her. I got it at 25. Couldn't be happier with it.
@Just_someone23 Nothing, really. Your doctor will examine you and fill you in with all the information you need. He'll even introduce you to those 1-2% risks. I do not even consider it a gamble.
