are you invited to a bday party? If not you definitely do not need to consider the price, then it is just a nice gift. If it is a fancy expensive dinner party and you feel it is cheap, you could just buy something extra. Maybe fill it with some luxury keto snack/ingredients.
It's not cheap. It depends on what he thinks. And he uses lunch box so I think it's a good gift. Gifts should be seen only as I think of you even when I am not around you. I think people can not identify or fix underlying issue/s so they blame gift giver.
