Bit coin is $49,000 now , so $1000 , would be like 2% of one bit coin.

You can pool invest $1000 on a Masterpiece of Rembrandt values at $15,000,000 and if they sell it for $30,000,000, you would get $2000 back. You doubled your money.

Silver is $25.28 an ounce , $1000 gets you Approx 50 ounces, if we have inflation like 1970's , Silver would reach $500 an ounce , you would make $25,000 profit.

Colored Diamonds have always increased in value. $1000 in diamond pool gets you like 10% of a smaller diamond. You would make money by Diamond going up in value and selling your share.

Just consider those factors.

If you couldn't guess, I am a commodities investor. I invest in Metals, Art, and Gem Stones. Bit Coin is not really a Commodity, or money. You would have to label it as Speculative.
