I typically buy whole wheat pasta but I have made my own several time and actually prefer making my own.
It isn't that difficult and the difference is truly amazing. Fresh pasta is just phenomenal.
It is especially easy with a kitchen aid mixer with a pasta attachment, and probably even easier with their new pasta roller/cutter attachment than the old system I have.
The recipe is very simple basically water flour egg and salt. You won't believe the difference.0
