Is gapped teeth dominant?

I have a huge gap in my two front teeth. No one else in my family has it, but yeah, I do. I think gaps are beautiful on most people but just not me.
I am pregnant. My boyfriend has straight teeth. I would love my child regardless but I'm afraid that she'll get my gapped teeth gene. I don't want her to go through the stuff I did with the bullying, and feeling so insecure because having a gap in your teeth is not really seen as beautiful in America. Is it dominant?

  • The way your teeth come in has nothing to do with genes (that I know of.) There's no need to worry, I think that's just your hormones messing with you or something. Try to think of other things.
