  • Chewing ice is not good for your teeth. Not only is craving ice a possible syptom of anemia, you're wearing down the enamel and exposeure to extreme cold and then the heat from your mouth can crack the stressed enamel.

    • :( makes sense. I'm not anemic though, actually the opposite, but i do love crunching on ice time to time. It may be a sign that I'm lacking something though

    • Exactly. Maybe you should talk with you doctor and get tested.

    • You're right. I need to. Thank u very much <3

    • i personall haven't noticed any differences either, but i mean i only do it a few times during summer. just make sure it isn't something ur doing way too often so u dont risk ur health. xx

    • Yeah, you're right. I'm glad I asked this question

  • it weakens your enamel and is also a sign that you have a vitamin deficiency

    • Ah, that makes sense. I was thinking about those multivitamins yesterday. I should have listened to myself.

  • Yep, plus chewing ice can break down the enamel on your teeth.

  • it's bad and can chip teeth

    • :( why does something that tastes good and enjoyable so bad for us? 😢
