So almost a month ago we got a crossed Bulldog fun puppy, exceptionally fast learner and easy to train. We also have an older dog who had no other companion for 10 years. He's a Charles breed, so smaller. He socialises well with other dogs and is never aggressive only with the pup. The pup playful and all that but the older dog is a lot more well tamed until the new baby came home. I give the equal attention, discipline and give Charles breed more food. He is still grumpy and barks at the pup despite how much trouble he gets in. How do I resolve this? Put him on Valium? 😀
How to stop the jealously fights in my oldest dog?

What helped me was when I paid more attention to the first dog when the pup was around. My dog learned that just because there's a new addition, it didn't mean he got any less attention.0
