I know that this is a myth but seriously I would eat a mini butterfinger and wake up with a few tiny acne on my forehead. I only eat a bit of chocolate and get a lot of acne the next day and it gets so annoying.

You are experiencing a phenomena called confirmation bias. Thats a $15 way of saying that we tend to find things we look for (even patterns that are not actually there).
You take note when eating chocolate and a pimple erupts. You do not take note when a pimple erupts but no chocolate consumption precedes.
What is true is that you are a teen. The process of transforming from a child to an adult is massive. Your body's chemistry is being altered to facilitate this change. Acne is a common side effect.0

No, when it is your own body showing something, it is not a myth.
Chocolate is inherently a "warm" food and if your body is of "warm" nature (Usually such people have warm feet and hands) then your body is prone to a natural reaction with with this chocolate which would show in the "over-heated" body via acne. It is just a way of body to show something isn't working for you.
BUT if this is not the case then maybe something in this specific chocolate is imbalancing the natural state of your body.0
