Would you help someone who really didn't need help with a deadline if they seemed as if they are careless and expect you to do most of it?

I like helping people even if I know there is no form of payment or write off. Basically, I am getting nothing out of it but to help, then I am fine. However, I take issue when I try to help someone and they expect me to do it all because they know I will. They hardly make an attempt and when confronted they throw a pity party for themselves. Would you continue helping? What if you didn't help they ended up losing their job or something else? Does guilt eat at you?

Most Helpful Guy

  • Possibly but it's their own fault, if that's how they get about it then don't bother helping again
