  • It's my understanding that they were first domesticated from a wild species of cat known as the African Wildcat. It had something to do with early agriculture when people started to store harvested grain. The stored grain would attract rodents and the rodents attracted the small African Wildcats. Add time and increased human interaction and domestication occurred.

  • I actually don't think cows come from Auroch. Cows were domesticated in INDIA.
Cats, were just wild cats. There are wild cat species in Europe that are roughly the same shape and size as domestic cats

  • African wildcats, they're basically the same thing as domestic cats and can still interbreed.
