Why do movies make relationships look so "magical"?

i don't get why. like they make them look like they're worth a million dollars, a leg and an arm, and make young children think relationships are like a fairytale storyline when they're not. like when i watch a movie and i see how relationships are in them, they are nowhere near the same in real life/reality. why do they do this? to bring viewers in? to make more money? like i don't understand because my relationship with my boyfriend is nowhere like what you would see in the movies, or even a tv show

i also do notice this in some books/novels as well...
