    After really getting to know animals, you wonder how anyone could lack empathy towards them and disregard them and simple beings.
    They are little people. They have emotions and thoughts, perhaps not as complex as our own but they feel fear and joy and bonding.
    You can not “like” animals and still know that they’re Alive and feeling. Anyone who couldn’t understand that just isn’t a nice person.
