I had a tan, 1981 VW Rabbit diesel 4-door similar to the one above, except it had also been crashed in the front, and so it wore a non-matching hood and fender, which I spray-painted to roughly match. This fine German automobile climbed hills at 30 MPH in 2nd gear while spewing blue smoke like a spy car, and was able to hit 78 MPH going downhill with a tailwind.I actually drove this pile of crap 250 miles each way every single weekend for more than a year to see my girlfriend. Ahh, the idiocy of youth. I also delivered pizza in it. Of course, it broke down several times and repairs were crazy expensive given that German + diesel = $$$$$ when it came to parts as well as finding someone who understood how to work on it.I finally made enough money to replace it with a Japanese car, and that was a glorious day. I probably spent $4000-5000 keeping that $500 VW on the road. I also learned never to listen to my dad about cars.
I had a silver Toyota Tacoma, like so:I actually got it since I was moving and wanted to be able to move stuff around easily. I was also into some carpentry at the time to build quarter pipes and half-pipes for skating, and it was handy to transport lumber.Unfortunately, I'm horrible at parallel parking and failed my driving test three times in a row on the parallel parking section with the truck. :-D 4th time was the charm though.
My first car was a 500.00 dollar car bitter... a Plymouth acclaimed, color white, it only lasted me one year! But then i got a brand new car after i learn how to drive very very well on the road and not crash! I hit a gas pump by an accident once with my parents car, try explaining that to my parents! Lol.
Had a hand-me-down which was an ‘05 Dodge Neon SXT. First car I bought was an ‘06 Scion tC. Now I have my first manual car which is a ‘14 Fiesta ST. If I could’ve picked my first car, it would have been an Evo, Genesis, STi/WRX, RSX, Z, or G35.
Have an opinion?
It was a Mercedes Benz c350. 😄
Something like this.
1968 Buick Special Deluxe
1995 Chevy blazer. Got a guy to weld a steel plate and the driver seat back another foot so i could drive without my knees getting in the way of the wheel turning. That was not made for a giant person to drive.Even in my 2014 ram my knee hits the 2 wheel drive bottom. Freaks me out when i can't make a turn in Alaska winter then see I'm not in 4 wheel drive.
@sean1234 basically a backseat driver
My first car is a 2007 Honda Civic, really the best starter car I could've hoped for. Small, responsive, tight turning, easy parallel parking. I'm really glad I learned to drive in it, and I hated the idea of driving before I got my license.
First and only
Ashley had one but she flipped over with it
@Bismarck_96 lmao mine was like age 4

I had a white 1994 Dodge Shadow. I got it in ‘95 so it only had like 8,000 miles on it, it lasted me til 2005. I used to clap cheeks in that bitch, sonnnnnn lmao

1970 Nova, but I only kept it for two days. The gas tank leaked, and half the time it wouldn't start. What a mistake.
I had a shitty 1984 Dodge Omni. It was falling apart, quite literally, but it was what I could afford, so i took it.
Mine was a 1997 (R) Ford Fiesta. It was a great car, and did the job well. I kept it for a few years before trading it in for the first brand new car I bought, a 2012 (12) Fiesta.Simples...

An Opel Corsa.
A beat up old van as old as me.
@sean1234 lol. My dad wouldn't let me drive anything else. He plastered bright red 'L' boards on the front and back windshields. I peeled them off after a week. This van was stick shift and had solid metallic bumpers. The deal was no accidents for a year and I get a brand new car.
I own a chevy van. It gets bad fuel mpg, but with a 350 v8, what is there to do? lol
