Why am I constantly worrying?

Throughout the day I worry about at least 10 things, I can literally worry about anything. It gets to the point where I cry, feel sick and can't sleep. The only way I can calm it is by talking to my mum. I do have depression, could it be apart of that? Does anyone have any tips on how to handle the ridiculous amount of worries I have?
