In general, negative thinking and emotions want to dominate positive ones. It takes a whole lot more effort in developing thinking patterns to love our lives than to hate our lives, for example. It's much easier to start distrusting everybody than to continue to trust new people even after we've been betrayed several times as another. It takes some real work and consciously resisting our own temptations to be negative to cultivate positive thinking patterns and corresponding emotions like love, happiness, confidence, trust, etc. It takes no conscious work to cultivate negative ones like fear, hated, jealousy, anger, etc.
As far as impulsive actions, I think anger/rage is much more tempting to make us act impulsively without thinking than love.
If I use nutrition as an example, it's much easier to be tempted to impulsively binge on junk food than it is to consciously make healthy choices.
I don't think there's a way to quantify and compare. You can be heart broken and throw yourself of a bridge, or angry and kill. Which is "stronger"? It's really subjective and so you can't compare then.
For me Rage 🔥
