Not super if soft, but it's adrug, yeah.Althoiuzgh I don't understand the appeal. No need to explain, I will never understand it. It doesn't tase good and it takes away fast reflexes, among many thing. Like…why would I want to dring something I super dislike to get some effect I consider very negative? Where is the logic? Oh, Bahamas, vacation. Yeah, it shows. Now, if there would be something, what would make my reflexes faster, mind sharper, senses more…sensitive, then sure. That is acutally useful. Yeah, but that's hard. Nobody want's that. Getting drunk is simple.
It is for many people, but for anyone born who is genetically predisposed to addiction, it is a destroyer of lives. Some drugs are addictive to everyone by their very nature (opioids, nicotine, crack), but for those who have the addict gene, there is no way to drink in moderation - if they take one drink, they can't stop until they are smashed, and sometimes not even then.
Sure, so is caffeine. Honestly I think that most chemical enhancement is healthy in an natural state. The leaves that cocaine are made from are helpful for altitude sickness. But we genetically modify the plant to have greater concentrations of chemicals and then distill it down and mix it with stuff and next thing you know, it’s deadly. It’s therefore hard to define the word drug. Aspirin is a drug, but that’s obviously not what you mean.
If you abuse it, there's nothing soft about it. You'll lose your job, your family life, your health.
With weed, you wont?
Weed is harsh on the lungs. Likely leads to bronchial problems and later lung cancer. Seems to dull ambition to do anything other than smoke weed. You can keep menial jobs if you're high. I don't think most people who are stoned want to invest in much other than staying stoned. However, studies show that after age 25, pot use drops precipitously. So, people outgrow it. It becomes something occasionally to rarely used. It is not needed by the body like alcohol, for some people, or other addictive drugs. There is psychological addiction, but not physical addiction. So weed is rather different. You can't compare it to meth, heroin, crack, cocaine, which have addiction/pleasure receptors in the human body that make it easy for some to become addicted to it.
Alcohol kills many people every year. Why would anyone call it a soft drug?
Definitely a drug, whether it is hard or soft depends on each person. Some people can limit their alcohol intake and enjoy it in smaller quantities for as long as they live. Others seek some kind of salvation or refuge in alcohol and it kills them in all kind of manners. To me a real alcoholic is no different from a junkie. The vast majority of them are unable to return to drug-free life. A lot of people in my family died due to alcoholism, unfortunately.
So your family was no different than junkies?
Yep. It was impossible to help them. I wish people would not look for an escape by using any kind of drug, but many do. Once they reach the point of no return, many will no longer behave like humans. Their brains get fried and that is it. Alcoholic or junkie - it is the same.
Alcoholics are still more respected than synthetic weed smokers.
It depends on where and by whom. Coming originally from the former USSR where alcoholism is still extremely widespread and is the leading cause of death among people, I would argue that alcoholics are not respected. Synthetic drugs are far less common and do not have nearly the same detrimental effect on the entire population because most people understand they are not to be toyed with and they cannot get their hands on them easily. In Western Europe people drink less than they do in Eastern Europe, but synthetic drugs are not widely available here compared to alcohol either. Since alcohol is accessible literally from early childhood years when many parents give it to their children to try, it is easier to get addicted to it. Most people know when to stop, but simply because alcohol is so damn widespread and millions of people lack the mental stop button, they drink themselves to death.
It's literally poison. It's just poison that makes you feel great.
I am not talking of methanol but ethanol. You seem to mix the 2 with one another.
Oh, well I'm drinking one of them daily.
Methanol is poison. Get it.
Maybe but not in large quantities😊 I've drank in moderation sometimes since 2000 maybe😊. I know a lot of how to be drunk😊
No such thing as a soft drug. You can still overdose on any drug.
I dunno what you mean by "soft"-- it's a drug, yes.
Based on the fact that extensive use , or withdrawl can kill you I vote no, but just my guess
It can be. Actually, ANYTHING can. The motto in life is moderation.
No, it's not a drug unless you drink a specific high amount
No. People die of alcoholism and if you drink a lot in one night you can die. Not at all.
No I can't.It is not synthetic weed. You can with synthetic weed.
Google search people do die of alcohol.
Not really. Exceptions dont break the rules. It is even more difficult than Miami getting below zero in winter.
Google search statistics of how many people die of alcohol.
You would compare alcohol with synthetic weed seriously?People who smoke synthetic weed are seen as the most stupid people on earth while people who drink alcohol are seen normal and accepted.
No, it’s a hard drug.
Its always been wet in my experience
Beer is a soft drug, hard liquor is a hard drug.
I'd say it's a hard drug.
Enough of it will make you soft.
It's literally poison.
It is definetly a drug
It can be both easy and hard
Na I'd say it's a medium drug
Probably more expensive
Nope, it's hard as nails.
I guess compared to other drugs out there
Not soft.Soft ones are low dosage pills.
That directly affect brain.Thats on a different league.
Weed damages brain cells more than alcohol?
I didn't say damage.Im not sure whether it is damage or repair.I just said affect.
I don't think so.
Alcohol isn’t a drug it’s actually a poison
It is a drug. And a softer drug than heroin.
“Unfortunately, it's not something I thought of. When consumed in moderate amounts, ethanol is not a toxin. However, in large enough quantities it can cause alcohol poisoning. In such cases, the dosage makes alcohol a poison or toxin.” That’s the first result if you look up “is alcohol a poison”
So as other drugs.
No drugs are drugs alcohol is literally a poison like cyanide or iocane
Real poison is methanol, not ethanol. And heroin is a stronger drug than alcohol.
Because alcohol isn’t a drug
Heroin is more harmful than alcohol.
Omg you idiot I’m not saying it is I’m stating the fact the ALCOHOL is a poison I’m not talking about heroin
Methanol is a poison. However, if you want a real poison drug, smoke synthetic weed. You will see what is poison.
It’s a hard drug
Deadly legal drug
