Yes... especially then. The bigger displacement engine is constantly spooling up to develop the torque to move the car, everytime you start up a hill. Even though the smaller sized engine is doing the same thing, it gets to that point quicker, therefore using less fuel to do that work.

Go with a 4 liter turbo diesel. You can convert it to were your fuel is recycled cooking oil. Plus even if you don't or do, you have the torque your looking for and it's been proven that diesel are not as harmful to our planet like gas
