Does good intention and outcome justify the action?

AndyDragon
Let's say that you are drawing a painting. You put your heart into it and try your best to make it beautiful. But then while you are away. A friend of family members seeing your painting decided to help and draw a tree in the middle. Your painting is loved and makes you famous. But you hate it because it's not what you like yourself. The painting is no longer what you wished to make. How do you feel about such actions and can this action with good intention be justified?
Leave your oppinion on this matter. As the question of morality and ethics is on the table.
