OMFG 😍🥰!!! I loveeeeeeeeee your answer! I enjoyed getting to know more about you through weaponry! It's a passion of mine too! Great pictures and I enjoyed reading!!! Beautiful 🥰
We would need a whole forum to ourselves to discuss weaponry in detail. LOL. I also have a decent little knife, sword, and machete collection. Hahaha...
Heck yeah we do! Lol
Maybe I'll take some pics of some of my stuff over the next week or so. I know you'd enjoy some of them if just from a cosplay perspective, though everything I have is very real.
Oh, and the last GIF you posted is exactly why I tell all the women I teach to shoot to wear only high-necked shirts to the range! Hot brass in the boobs can't be any fun!
Awesome experience with firearms. Have you spent any time doing competitive air rifle shooting? My Beeman Kodiak 22. Cal. Break barrel precision pressure plate powered air rifle doesn't have anywhere near the range of my M16A2, but at close range is as accurate as rifles get. I think you would find it an enjoyable means of rounding out your competitive shooting repertoire.
@Citizenkirk No, but I have a few air rifles that I often use in the backyard to train complete newbies before taking them to a real gun range.Sadly, my hobbies are fairly limited these days, as I run my own company, and I work 60ish hours a week...
OMG yesssssssssss 🔥! Thanks for participating and sharing your experience! I enjoyed reading!
you're always welcome, one of my career choices i wanted to become a reality when i left school was to enlist and be a sniper in the British Army... health and becoming a father changed that path for me... if i could go back and redo it i more than likely would have made the same choices though tbf
thanks for following.. now can you text me
That's kinda sad. Hopefully you never need one. In a survivor situation you wouldn't make it very long without simple shooting skills.

That's sooooooo freaking cool! Thanks for sharing your experience and including a picture! So fun
Me too!!! I learned in the Marine Corps though. We were issued the M16 service rifle. We even got cool RCOs! We shot the pistol and machine gun. I had a lot of fun with the machine gun! Good memories 👏
I would've never guessed you are a marine. I say that in present tence because there is no such thing as a former marine. Thank you for your service.
Once a Marine always a Marine. Thank you. Semper Fidelis
Sooooooo freaking cool!

0621-22, 0627, communications mos. Marine Corps veteran. I medically retired when I was 26! Thank you for your service
Thanks, if you can call what we did under the Reganomics regime and Emperor H. W. Bush service with a smile 😵
How did the V. A. treat you? Better than their reputation preceding them, I hope. I didn't have difficulty getting my "PLAY NICE" pills, for that Gulf War Syndrome designation for She'll Shock. I forget what my Uncle Mark was taking when he returned from Vietnam, but ever time a commercial medical helicopter flew over the house at night, he'd be peppering away at it with the 12 Guage while Aunt Sue yelled " Mark, wake up already, their not V. C. Wake up and come to back too bed." I hope nothing like that became of you, like us nutty guys did.
Communications specialist? You wouldn't happen too be a fellow RTO, would you? I was CO RTO headquarters platoon C. Company
No I wasn't 😊
No PRC field radio on your back and Vincent at your side? No long whip antennae too draw enemy 🔥?
I didn't deploy thank goodness b
I'm glad you were spared that mess, even though we trained for that eventuality should it happen. Most of the times we were called too assemble in the quad at 2 a. m. to ready our gear and weapons for departure to the big Island, or a nearby destroyer or Troup carrier, too check, recheck, check each other, twiddle our thumbs, check again, line up for role call and munitions check, weapons check, TA 50 and webgear check, twiddling thumbs some more, etc, etc.--- till noon, when everything goes back, gets checked in, signed up in, cussing and stewing for another unproductive assembly, told too stay on base, or in barracks just in case we might still deploy, yada yada wanky wanky--- you get the idea. For every time we were a go, to deploy, a half dozen times twiddling our thumbs as described.
I've always wanted to go hunting! Thanks for the awesome feedback! I enjoyed reading about your experiences 😉

Me too! My rifle was the M16 service rifle. 5.56mm rounds. Only about 7 lbs and very light weight. Hardly and recoil and I have an amazing speed reload! I was so close to shooting expert on the range. I got sharpshooter because I was sick on range week. I love shooting

I enjoyed reading your post and your experiences! Thank you😊
I learned at Marine Corps bootcamp! Thanks for explaining your answer! I enjoyed reading your experiences. I shot a pistol, rifle, machine gun, grenade launcher, and throwing grenades. I suck at throwing. Almost blew me and my instructor away. But they were dummy rounds so we were okay 😆🤣
You're welcome, I was also a member of two gun clubs using handguns before they were banned, so a lot of experience and training with both pistols and revolvers, we Olympic Committee round one time, I missed out on that, then there was the ban anyway. One of my best experiences was firing a 12 gauge slug at a bowling skittle, it shattered lol,,,
To be more specific, I lack the experience and knowledge to handle a gun properly
Should definitely learn! It's a blast 😊
I'm not sure... I'm still too scared 😂
Thanks for the awesome feedback today! I always look forward to your opinions! Your positivity is contagious! I love it

Omg! That sounds like a lot of fun!
It was but where I grew up at it was better to have one and know how to use it then not
I can totally understand that 😊
I would love to shoot a shotgun. I want to feel the recoil. I've shot from the M16 service rifle, machine gun, grenade launcher, and pistol. Marine corps infantry training is where I learned.
You might like practical shooting then https://uspsa.org/
@Pete671 loveeeeeeeeee this! Thank you

@Secret6620 how long were you in the Marine Corps?
OMG! I was Marine Corps. But I was a radio operator. I was s Sharpshooter unfortunately. I was sooooooo close to shooting expert 😭
Did you ever see sunny camp lejuene. I did 12 years
Yes! I needed to go to the hospital on base and it was my original first duty station. But my orders change to camp pendleton. Of course I did infantry training at Geiger. Pariss island had sooooooo many sand fleas. I was so happy to get stationed in California. There's no weather so field ops were so easy. I got stuck at headquarters battalion too. We were a non deploying unit but they would deploy individuals who earned it. I missed those days and my brothers. Semper Fidelis Marine.
Thank you for your service Devil Dog.
Happy Birthday Marine. When I got rifed I was ttrying to get orders to drill field I needed it to make ssgt but was scared to death I would kill a recruit. I was very hands on with disipline I didn't like to do paper work to write anyone up.
